“Alto and Pelham Media Ltd. share the same values, striving for excellence, precision and outstanding customer service, not to mention taking a real interest in our clients’ businesses.”•
Alto International was founded in 1997 by Amanda Galsworthy, interpreter from 1984 to 2012 to three French presidents: François Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy (« Elle traduit Mitterrand, Chirac et Sarkozy » in French, Le Point, 27 December 2013). Alto offers a range of top quality language services in translation, interpreting, coaching and technical writing, available in 236 languages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This acquisition positions Pelham Media Ltd. group as the only player in the market able to provide integrated editorial and digital communication services in all languages, at any time, so as to respond to the needs of our international clients seeking to communicate with their target groups rapidly and accurately. The many advantages of such a “one-stop shop” include:
- Improved quality of multi-lingual content;
- Reduction in cost and time required to publish content, in particular during crisis situations.
The acquisition has already achieved initial success: WordAppeal, in partnership with Alto, has been awarded a three-year contract with a large energy provider to supply webmaster services to around a hundred of their websites throughout the world and monitor their social network accounts 24/7.
Lætitia Puyfaucher, CEO of Pelham Media Ltd.: “We are proud and delighted that Alto will be joining Pelham Media Ltd. From offices in Paris and Hong Kong, we will be able to offer our clients a one-stop shop for all communications, content and social media for every country in which they operate. Alto and Pelham Media Ltd. share the same values, striving for excellence, precision and outstanding customer service, not to mention taking a real interest in our clients’ businesses.”
Amanda Galsworthy, CEO of Alto International: “We are really pleased and excited to be a part of the Pelham Media Ltd. group to drive the transformation of language services, which includes translation and interpretation, towards a role that genuinely adds value to multicultural communication of businesses in the modern world. That is a goal Alto and Pelham Media have in common.”
