SEAPFA
SEAPFA is the equipment and development union of the Pays de France and Aulnoye, which brings together the cities of Aulnay-sous-Bois, Le Blanc-Mesnil, Sevran, Tremblay-en-France and Villepinte. It aims to create a bond of solidarity and mutual aid between the municipalities of north-eastern Seine-Saint-Denis.
The Intégrathlon is a sporting event whose mission is to gather people able-bodied and disabled participants, whether sporty or not, on the same sports fields. It creates this meet-up to overcome prejudices and raise awareness.
In 2009, SEAPFA created the Intégrathlon based on an original KCO idea. Being the first French event of its kind in such a large area, the Intégrathlon has been rewarded on numerous occasions (National Trophy for Communities, APHAJ Trophies, Orcip Prize, etc.).
RESULTS:
In six years, the Intégrathlon has brought together:
- 15,600 students
- 21,000 weekend participants from the general public
- 85 sports ambassadors from the Ile-de-France and the Olympic community
- 35 people from Japanese and Palestinian delegations
- 60 associations involved including 25 departments since the first year
